Patient Care Assistant (PCA)

***Duties*** Included but not limited to:

- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming- Making frequent safety rounds on residents and report to Nursing Staff- Assist with patient transfers and mobility- Provide emotional support to patients and their families- Document patient care activities accurately and timely- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care- Utilize electronic health record systems to input and retrieve patient information

***Qualifications***:

-High school diploma or equivalent

-Completion of PA state DHS Direct Care Staff training certification

- Experience working with behavioral health patients is preferred ( not required)

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
